Wow really? That's so cool! We weren't allowed to celebrate it...grr! The school I'm at now doesn't mind lol.
Are you American, do you mind me asking? It's just it's an American tradition so maybe that's why you're allowed to do it!
But still cool! xxx

Lol I don't mind, I was just brought up a way in which it's not so big! None of my friends do much for it either!
I'm English and even though, over here people do go trick or treating and such it's not so big here. I think it's bigger your side of the Atlantic :)
Yeah I don't mind celebrating it! I went to a Halloween party this year, but it was more an excuse to get drunk aha! x

I'm American, and my church and pastor were awesome when my kids were little. He encouraged kids to come in costume to an early afternoon Mass. You could wear anything, but if you came dressed as a saint, you could come up to the front, give a three or four sentence explanation of who your saint was, then receive a little prize. Most years my kids would do a saint, hurry home for a quick supper, then change into other costumes and go trick or treat.
His sermon always talked about the origin of Halloween as a way to scare off/appease the spirits of the dead, and now it's "All Souls Day", when we pray for them.

Hiya! Yeah I totally think that's cool! It's just as a child we were just told we shouldn't dress up to "celebrate" evil spirits! Plus if your American, I think it's more of an American tradition so nobody over here does much on Halloween anyway. xxx
