a thought...
It occurred to me the other night I could anchor a flower in this handy dandy new hole in my ear for the wedding. That would be useful. I'm gonna look into it. I think it's a fine idea.

hole in my ear...
OK. So I went and had this hole punched through my ear. It went really well. The piercer I had was fantastic. Her name is Denise and she works out of Metro on Hawthorne if anyone is interested. She was quick, steady, efficient, good with her hands, gentle and reassuring...all that good stuff. So now I have this 8 gauge hole in my upper ear. ( Read more... ) -

paranoid and discontent
It seems to me some days that the assorted characters gathered on my desk are judging me. For what, I don't know. Today the troll twins are mocking me. Waredrobe malfunction!! About 15 minutes into kickboxing today my exercise top burst open. It zips up the front and the old thing just couldn't take the strain. The zipper slowly worked it's way down bit by bit while I was obliviously busy executing jabs and upper cuts. Eventually the whole thing just gave way. Oy. -

oh yeah, I forgot to write this down. While I was drying off after my nice refreshing soak this afternoon, my charming son declared "Mom, you have a big butt!" I'm thrilled that he's speaking in sentences more often but I think the boy lacks tact. (heh heh, I actually think it's pretty hysterical!) -
home sweet home
OK. Home again after another ripping day at work. It was not a good day. It was quite the opposite of good. I'm not going to elaborate. It's financial. Again. Today has been a real suckfest to rival all suckfests. Right now I am drowning my sorrows in chocolate covered marshmallow bears and dry roasted peanuts instead of having a proper lunch. gack.
