OK, inside the corset there is a piece of webbing that runs around the natural waistline, so gives an accurate inner waist measurement of 22" - almost 23".

I just dragged it out of storage and since I've only worn it once, it looks a bit dull and has some superficial scratches on the rubber parts. They're not deep at all and I assume it would come up looking new if polished (this is the only rubber item I've ever owned, so I'm not very clued up!)

I like the trousers but then I imagined me wearing them and the result in my head was not pretty!
