I have finally decided to go public with this story, because I think that when something traumatic happens in one's life, it is important to share it with those you care about, so you can get the prayer and support you need. As long as I keep it bottled up or I just tell people when the whim strikes me, it stays stuck inside me, and that's not fair ( Read more... )

Lacey - that is un-fucking-believable! It makes me violently angry to think that anyone would punch you, especially since you didn't start shit. It was all him! If I were in that disco, that bitch would have tasted my elbow. Then my fist. Then my knee.

I know that the legal consequences for him will do little to settle your mind. The biggest thing you lost is trust in your safety, which takes a long time to repair anywhere, but I think especially abroad. Challenge yourself to forgive him, forgive Germany, and keep doing what you do.

Also, know that many of your friends and family are beating him up in their heads and sending you big hugs. *HUG*

Oh man, Lacey, that's horrible. I'm just glad that there were still a lot of people helping you after that, but still... geezus.

I might ask my F-list to send well-wishes too, if that's okay. And I'll look for a card for you tonight.

*hug*

I'm so sorry you're hurt. You're still attractive and wonderful though.

Should not feel bad for the idiotic actions of the extreme deviant outliers of human behaviour.

My old friend -

Wow. I will pray for you, and maybe draw you a picture. Would that be okay?

You're a strong person, you know.

And you got some really rugged-and-sexy photographs out of the deal.

I know that you've heard and run across bad people before. However, for a kind spirit like yours, I realize you always assume that people are basically good. Therefore, when a crapster like this comes along, it is a complete surprise. I don't know what German justice is like, but I know you played this in the perfect way. I'm interested in the legal followup. You may want to at least make these entries friends only until you have legal advice, including questions about making your account of the evening public. I have no legal training, but better safe than sorry.
