A Turn for the Better!

I just returned from an extremely boring and even more irritating "party" from my Dad's co-worker's house. I don't understand why parents, especially my Dad, like to parade their children in front of people who they are trying to impress. It annoys me and more importantly in situations like these it bores me and I loose time which I can never get

My parents are the total opposite. I'm 27 years old and if my parents have friends over or are having a party, I can't sit out with the adults, I have to sit with the kids. I basically get treated like a 13 year old.

I am interchangable it seems. If they feel that some of the kids need to be entertained I have to spend time with them then.
