so its praticly official...im not going to camp friendship. i thought this wouldnt happen i really did, i dunno why i was so stupid about it, i should have realized a while ago it was silly to have such hopes, but i denied to myself that my parents wouldnt let me go. and well now they aren't. its just a matter of them calling them and telling them

i want you to know, if you feel like i'm avoiding you, i'm not. well, i'm kind of avoiding everyone. i think you'll feel a lot better about life when school ends because school...sucks. hardcore. and if you're staying home this summer, we can hang out, because i'm not going ANYWHERE. just remember that people love you, even if they forget to show it. you're awesome, and i just thought i'd let you know.

I'm sorry if I ever exclude you, believe it or not I kept thinking you don't want to hang out with me and stuff, so maybe it's like mutual weirdness.
Either way, let's hangout this summer because working on friendships is a good idea.
And we'll be able to drive, so freedom!
And now you don't have to feel guilty about your parents having to care for the wee ones, so turn your frown upside down.
We can have a summer assignments party, because I have tons too.

I think it'd be cool to hang out if I have some time...Thing of it is, I don't really hang out with anyone much outside of church activities like folk group and antioch and stuff. Its not that I don't want to, but I'm just pretty busy most of the time and well, I don't always know what to do hanging out (possible side effect of years of social isolation? possibly). That probably sounded really weird, but I'm socially inept and not really good at getting my point across unless I'm writing a story. :p

Anyhow, my point was that I like you as much as any of my other friends and that I'm not forgetting you, I just don't hang out with ANYONE much. And I know what you mean about feeling forgotten. I feel that way sometimes too.

hi! camp is soooo great! im so sad you cant come. we had a luau the first night and talent showthe next night(just for counslors since kids arent here yet) and tonight were having an all counslor campfire. its so much fun. i love it. anyway, since you aint comin...write to me here and send care packages!!!! and dont worry. they might hire you back next year. they hire a lot of crazy fools back. hehe. you should come visit too. oh and e-mail me at daniellesalter@hotmail.com
