 I feel so many tensions in my life right now. 
My initial goal in doing AmeriCorps this year was that I would spend next year traveling and writing.

Hey. I've been reading my friends page and wondering why you haven't been showing up on it. What an oversight, I hadn't friended this blog of yours!

Money is for settling. I've lately been steeped in its vaulted corridors. Bleh. Travel if you can. Teach if you can. Love if you can. Y'know?

I'd say, taken in two year steps, it's not that stultifying. Wanderlust builds, but it's not extinguished and can, at this point in our lives, be put on pause. The days willy fly, won't they?

Sean! I miss you. Oberlin days feel so far away.
How are you? You're teaching in Hawaii?

The money/travel/love/teaching debate is currently fading as I enjoy the fall weather and foreign films and small, secret pleasures that life gives. BUT, in so many ways it is always present and I wish things would just simplify sometimes. Why does it have to be so hard?
