I thought I couldn't stay retired from daily posts. Spring arrived in a big way and suddenly I didn't have the gnawing drive to put words on the screen. As I've complained about for the past few years, May usually sucks in Seattle and June hasn't been that much bette.r Not so this year. Both have been practically perfect

Hmm, now I know why you asked me about how to play tennis. I thought it had to do with the French Open!

We have a tennis court about a block from our house so we recently got some cheap rackets and headed over there. I managed to mysteriously injure myself within about five minutes so we haven't done it again, but it was fun, even if we are spectacularly bad. The best part is that no one else seems to use the courts there.
