Thanks for sharing...

I scolded my mum for giving a ride to a stranger along with giving the stranger money because I was worried for her safety...

It is nice to be reminded that one can do kind things....and that folks still do and not be harmed :>)

THanks
Caeli

I am both alarmed and completely charmed by your mother's antics.
Must be quite a woman...

The stranger was a drunk woman stumbling home.. lovely..

I think my mum has a few screws that are a bit loose. She is generous as anything... but I worry about her judgement....

the human race is in a silent civil war, ron. always has been.
it's us vs. them.
our opponents genuinely care only for themselves, even when caring for others won't impead them in any way. they're out for all they can take.
us, we have a higher caring, a belief in goodness. we care, at our core, by our nature. we want to help.
you're on of us ron, you're on our side. you're pure goodness at the core. it's why i love you. it shows in the little things. your capacity to love and give is beautiful and mighty far beyond average. i never tell you as clearly as i should just how strongly i value you, and having people like you in the world. we'd be lost without the ron hods.

Nate, that's one of the most wonderful, awesome things anyone has said to me in a long, long time...
I love your heart, I love the passion in which you go fighting big ole' Republican windmills, I love your caring and strong feeling of right and wrong. I love the fact that you will give (and HAVE given) everything you had to someone in need, because you've been there and you know what it's like.
Thank you for your words, they mean a lot more than you probably know.
