Okay, so I'm back in the new year to concentrate on getting things organized for Azkatraz Art Activites (also known as Triple A! ...oh wait.) Aside from activities, I also really want to do a couple panels/workshops. HELP ME FIGURE STUFF OUT, PLEASE.

It is mondo-hibernation time now. I'm going into heavy withdrawing phase, but it might just be that I'm preparing myself ahead of time for the prospective killer-overtime we'll do doing at work this spring. OY.

Hmm. I'm wondering if maybe instead of a generic 'how to draw' workshop, it can be a workshop on how to make fanart if you're not an illustrator? Or maybe just bring that topic up at the end, with some examples of what I mean. I like that idea, though. It's like Fanart 101. :D

Fanart/pro-art - I was thinking of making it a panel with Q&A at the end. Interested in being part of the panel? Maybe being the moderator? YOU HAVE SMART THOUGHTS. I LIKE SMART THOUGHTS. XD XD

I would love all of those things. I love watching people draw, see how they do what they do. And I am always anxious to learn more drawing stuff (being that I am still a noob). I would attend every one of them. Sorry I can't help out with any of it tho. I'm not sure I could be there AND I am at the bottom of the fanartist food chain! Haha.

Er anyway! I am so gunning for that one in 1000 chance, man. It's be awesome if you attended!! Then I'd try to rope you in for one of the panels/presentations. It'd be neat to have the Fanart/Proart panel be a variety of fanartists, from old skoolers to newbies.

YOU. I MUST BEG YOU FOR SO MUCH. I'd love to have you on board for all the presentations (if they get accepted lol) but in particular -

1) Wanna do the Drawing Fanart LIVE! thing? How are you with drawing in front of people? I'll bring the tablet and computer and do the set-up, you just bring yourself and your talent!

2) C'MON, YOU MUST DO THE PRAWN PANEL WITH ME. O PLS. I also wanna try and wrangle lizardspots to join in on this, TEEHEE HEEEEEE.

WHAAAAA you've only been around on LJ for 3+ years?? I feel like I've known you for ages!!! I think that's the weirdest thing about going back to old entries. Some things you thought you knew for ages were only recent, and something you thought were such new ideas you've been ruminating over for ages. It's kinda trippy. XD

1) MAYBE!!! ahhh idk, drawing in front of people makes me nervous, but I guess I haven't done it a LOT. I could maybe give it a shot though! You said 20 minutes-ish of drawing per person--were you thinking people would each do a quick sketch/coloring, or start with something already WIP and continue working on it, or either/both? It sounds really awesome but I also feel like people might be like "oh, that's her technique? How disappointing. D:"

2) THE PRAWN PANEL SOUNDS REALLY FUN and I just feel like there would be so much to say on the subject! All the questions you listed there are so interesting and all are things I've thought about and AHHH!!! So uh. MAYBE. a;lfie LIZARDSPOTS AHHHH YES SHE MUST ABSOLUTELY DO IT :DDDDDDDDDDD

Honestly, I think whatever part of the process the artist can bring to the table, I'm happy to have on board. I know 20min isn't a lot of time, and it'll be kinda fun to see different processes done. It'll really be whatever is most comfortable for you!

I was actually gonna poke you and ask if you'd be interested in doing a panal. I'd love to co-worskshop with you.

I want to workshop but coming up with one all on my own sounds kinda daunting.

Though I'm tempted to see if I can do a showing all all the HP-Art-Project art somehow, even if I don't have the book done, though that will require the permission form collection OF DOOM. =P

But yes, would very much like to co-workshop.
Honeslty the funnest one was the roundtable discussion if maybe there was more planning.

Also honestly a workshop on going professional might be of interest though I'd not be the one to run that.

YES. You are so definitely one of the people I need to have to do some of these panels with!! Especially the workshop, ahahah. I think you have a better idea how to come up with a structure for the workshop, fo sho.

OMG having a showing of the HP Art stuff would be awesome! And it can be a bunch of slides while you talk about what it was like to mod it and organize it and stuff! What a GREAT IDEA. Even if you don't get permission from everyone, at least getting it from some people would be just as good (you already have mine YAYYYYY).

Maybe the prawn one or the Fanart-PPP one could be roundtable? It's either that or having it as a panel then massive Q&A at the end. Or we can just have a generic Fanartist roundtable - at Prophecy we all picked random fanart-related questions out of a hat, then went around answering them. It was silly, but a fun way to break the ice. XD

I put MAYBE because there's a SLIM SLIM SLIM chance that I MAY be able to go (especially considering I just found fare for 180$. WHAT..! OMG...I need to lose three inches across to fit in to it. WHAT. D:).
