Remember how right at the beginnng I offered to donate to MANAA if protest letters were mailed to Paramount Pictures? Well, in light of MANAA's letter to Paramount Pictures as well as all the enthusiasm and action that us regular people have been taking, I finally made the donation.

Eeeeee I know, I am SO EXCITED. I would really hope that with both MANAA and EWP support, Paramount can't possibly ignore the issue, I mean. One would hope. *kjfhdsjfkhfjhf* Like most politicians, I have ZERO confidence in the integrity of movie execs, but. I want to feel hope!

Wow. It's great that more prominent groups and organizations are beginning to catch on and contribute to the protests. While movie studios are usually just absolutely stupid and don't care about what other people think, one has to hope that keeping up the pressure may do something this time.

YES! I am completely thrown overboard with glee that MANAA and EWP have contributed and are taking such an active role!!! I mean, it's true - movie execs listen to no one except the flapping sound of dollar bills, but oh man. With MANAA and EWP on our sides, at least there's more of a chance for at least the media to sit up and pay attention. XD

Also, it's at an early enough point in the movie-making process to make a difference. Protesting movies after they've been made and are about to be released don't garner attention from anyone. But going after the studio RIGHT from the get go has the potential to generate enough pressure to make people wonder, "Well... This might actually hurt our profits." Which is sad, like you said, that all they care about is money...

It is wonderful and joyous! I need to download Flash again and make more icons (I've wanted to create an HP set).
