You guys, you guys. I keep trying to think of what to say. This is stunning. This could be true! Okay, maybe not the serial killers part, but everything else is exactly the way it was, I'm sure.

Your language is perfect, and it's like a missing scene from A Hard Day's Night or Help, only creepier, but more real.

You captured John's aggression and his vulnerability, Paul's care for the group more than the people in it, George's resentment of it all, and Ringo just needing to be there.

And so much more, of course.

The art is stunning, too, just gorgeous and evocative and really, as someone who has been absorbing Beatle lore and facts and history practically all my life, and who was actually there for a lot of it, because I am just that old, I'm, um, stunned is the only word I can come up with.

THIS. This gives me so much joy that, like, you are such a Beatles fan and you got this from the fic/art; which means we did something right! PARTICULARLY PAUL. I never could quite describe his loyalty/determination, but you pegged it perfectly - his care and love was for the band more than the people. AUGH. BLESS HIM. So perfectly said and I am SO HAPPY you thought this part of his personality was captured in our fic.

Bwaaaaaaa - it's always nice to get feedback but it's EXTRA BONUS helping of gratitude when the feedback is from someone so well-versed in the canon. Like you! Thank you thank you thank you!

I've been a fan for such a long time, and their personalities have been ingrained in my head forever. You distilled them down to their essences here, and it's lovely.

Paul has always been my favorite, but I certainly don't have any illusions about him. I just love him unconditionally.

I was secretly hoping that you would read this and like it, because you are the person on my fl who I KNOW loves the Beatles like crazy, and oh man -- this feedback is like manna. Lori already went over the extraordinary squee-makingness of your succinct and gorgeous summation of their group dynamics, and I want to shriek in delight over this part:

We both had a huge Beatles jag when we were in high school and then it kind of mellowed down only to explode again now, and of course the access to media at this point is a whole different world compared to fifteen years ago.
