THERE SHOULD BE SHINX RIDES BECAUSE SHINXES ARE CUTE TOO.
AND VOLKNER WOULD BE DELIGHTED BECAUSE IT'S A SHINX.

There will be a make-believe amusement park somewhere in Sinnoh. There will be a Gyarados Waterfall'ing ride. Flint sticks Volkner on one of the mons and leaves him there until he's rescued by Crasher Wake.
