TRUE LOVE: BETA
#01 - Walking
When Impa took Zelda for walks outside of the castle, the Princess couldn't stop to think about the valiant silent boy with deep blue eyes.
#02 - Waltz
Zelda once dreamed she and Link were dancing at the royal ball, and as they followed the beat of the waltz, he stopped and softly kissed her.
#03 - Wishes
When they were only children, she told him that if someone with a righteous heart makes a wish, it will lead Hyrule to a golden age of prosperity, a phrase he never forgot.
#04 - Wonder
Link wondered what would occur if the opposite happened, and Zelda said that if someone with an evil mind has his wish granted, the world will be consumed by evil.
#05 - Worry
"What happened? Did Ganondorf see you?" asked Zelda, and when Link nodded she responded "Don't worry, he doesn't have any idea what we're planning... yet!"
#06 - Whimsy
The Great Deku Tree told Link when he was a child that as the servants of evil gain strength, a vile climate pervades the land and causes nightmares to those sensitive to it, but it was only when Zelda told him about her dream that he realized Great Deku Tree's words were no whimsy.
#07 - Waste/Wasteland
When Impa told him that the Princess was waiting for him to return to the castle with the stones, Link knew there was no time to be wasted, and he had to continue his quest courageously and bravely.
#08 - Whiskey and rum
The boy thought it might be fun to go and have a drink with the men from Kakariko Village, but again, he didn't have time for such activities, he was a boy of his word and would get the three Spiritual Stones just like he promised.
#09 - War
They both could feel the climate of evil descending upon this realm, the scent of war, and they knew they were the only ones who could protect Hyrule.
#10 - Weddings
Zelda, ever since she was a kid, had imagined her wedding just like the ones in fairy tales - big and white - and she hoped she would live happily ever after with her handsome groom.
#11 - Birthday
Oh her birthday, Zelda received many gifts but the one she wanted more than anything was the one she couldn't have: the cute boy with brown boots, deku shield and green tunic.
#12 - Blessing
Link ran away from Saria when she gave him the Ocarina and jumped in the water when Ruto tried to kiss him, but with Zelda he felt different, he felt so blessed just to be able to talk to her and so he wished they never had to leave each other.
#13 - Bias
He had never enjoyed to be biased, and with Zelda he felt strong as if nothing could get in his way.
#14 - Burning
Link thought the burning torches of the castle were very similar to the ones in his dream, but when he saw Zelda on Impa's horse, looking frightened as if something horrifying had happened, he knew his dream, too, was a prophecy.
#15 - Breathing
He took a deep breath, put the Ocarina to his lips and gently played Zelda's lullaby because there was some mysterious power in these notes that would lead him to her.
#16 - Breaking
Zelda knew he was on a very dangerous adventure and when she thought of him getting injured or hurt, her heart broke in million pieces.
#17 - Belief
Yes, she had told her father about her dream, however he didn't believe it was a prophecy.
#18 - Balloon
Sometimes during his quest, Link missed the attractive little houses of the Kokiri forest but at least he had Navi, the guardian fairy who had a balloon shape and whom, as annoying as she could be, reminded him of his village.
#19 - Balcony
Zelda, when in sadness, often remembered when she and Link first spoke, at the balcony of the Caste Courtyard with the lovely yellow flowers, and the thought of that first meeting made her heart melt.
#20 - Bane
Zelda imagined herself saying "The bane of my life has always been that wicked man of the desert, he frightens me" and Link, not knowing what to respond, would simply put his arm around her and kiss her forehead.
#21 - Quiet
She will marry a prince or a duke, her parents used to say, but Zelda's heart was already taken by the brave quiet boy from the Kokiri forest, there was nothing no one could ever do about it.
#22 - Quirks
"Can Hyrule's destiny really depend on such a lazy boy?" the fairy asked, but Zelda knew that despite Link's quirks, he was a true hero.
#23 - Question
He had had to get pass all the royal guards to get to her and that was no easy task, but when she turned her head and asked him who he was - just a simple question - at that moment he knew, he knew she was the one.
#24 - Quarrel
Link had gotten into so many quarrels with Ruto the capricious Zora's Princess that he just could not wait to see Zelda and feel her sweetness again, for that was what he had longed for.
#25 - Quitting
Link did as Zelda told him: he went to the Temple of Time, played the Song of Time and put the three Spiritual Stones in their rightful emplacements, the Triforce then lit up and he was able to put the Master Sword out of the ground, by doing so he quit the domain of childhood forever.
#26 - Jump
"Look Link! You're big now! You've grown up!" said Navi, and she was right: now that he was an adult, he would jump, fight, swim, run, there was nothing Link wouldn't do to save Zelda from Ganondorf's evil hands.
#27 - Jester
When he left the Temple of Time and went to what used to be the Market, Link felt chills as there was no more joyful people like Malon, no more jester or couple dancing, there was only darkness and Redeads.
#28 - Jousting
When he saw what had become of the Kokiri Village, Link was so frustrated, he knew he had to joust against Ganondorf, the maker of this destruction, until death came to either one of them, and he was ready to do so.
#29 - Jewel
Ever since Zelda had fled the castle on horseback with her caretaker Impa and given Link the Ocarina of Time, he held on to it as some kind of jewel, a promise that he would one day be reunited with the woman he loved.
#30 - Just
Zelda had taken the appearance of a Sheikah of course to elude Ganondorf's capture and help Link throughout his quest in the five temples, but also to just see the Link she had known as a boy now as a bold and intrepid man.
#31 - Smirk
Link, even thought he was not privy of Sheik's true identity, felt like they were somehow connected, he wondered why this man seemed to know a lot about him and he could see that, underneath his costume, Sheik was smirking.
#32 - Sorrow
After he completed the Shadow Temple and defeated Bongo Bongo, Link was brought to the Chamber of the Sages where he was pleased to be greeted by Impa, although he felt a little bit of sorrow when he saw that Zelda was not present.
#33 - Stupidity
Link read the Gossip Stone which said "They say that, contrary to her elegant image, Princess Zelda of Hyrule is, in fact, a tomboy" but thought it was pretty stupid, as he was sure Zelda would never dress up like a boy.
#34 - Serenade
The Song of Time, which Link learned from Zelda, sounded more like an exquisite serenade, an amulet of his love for her, one which would never end, than an actual song.
#35 - Sarcasm
Sure Malon was a nice girl, and Ruto had grown into this splendid young woman, and Saria, although she always had a kind of sarcastic tone to her voice, had always been a good friend- yes, they were fair and gracious ladies - but none of them could even begin to compare to Zelda in the Hero's heart.
#36 - Sordid
Link still believed he could protect Zelda and her people from Ganondorf, despite the sordid words followed by an evil laugh the dark man had pronounced seven years ago: "So, you think you can protect them from me? you've got guts, kid, pathetic little fool!"
#37 - Soliloquy
After the Great Deku Sprout told Link he was in fact a Hylian, his whole life started to make more sense but still, he believed himself to be a true Kokiri, and all alone while he was walking he was making soliloquies to himself, debating the very questions of his existence.
#38 - Sojourn
While Link was away in his sojourn through Hyrule's deep forest and vast deserts, Zelda often imagined him wandering up and down with his sword and shield, successfully killing every vicious creature on his way.
#39 - Share
When Link was fighting against the Forest Temple's boss, he felt like Zelda was there with him, saying "Beware the Phantom Ganon, my love!" and that motivated him to defeat it, and when he finally did so he would have wanted to share that special moment with Zelda, although he knew it wasn't time yet.
#40 - Solitary
In a moment of great solitude, Princess Ruto came to Link and, being a woman, she acknowledged the fact that his heart was already taken and, by telling him "Princess Zelda, she's alive, I can sense it so don't be discouraged" she instantly gave Link his hope back.
#41 - Nowhere
After Link awakened the Six Sages, Sheik revealed his true identity - Sheik was really Zelda, Princess of Hyrule - she apologized for meeting Link in disguise, but the man instantly forgave her, for there was nowhere else in the world he'd rather be than right here with her.
#42 - Neutral
Zelda's tone of voice, which stayed neutral throughout the whole monologue she told Link, suddenly broke when she remembered what happened when he put out the Master Sword: "Your spirit remained in the Scared Realm, and then the Triforce fell into Ganondorf's hands"
#43 - Nuance
He had not seen Zelda for many years, and as she was speaking Link impeccably noticed every change and every nuance in her appearance and personality, and he realized she still had the wisdom and beauty that made him fall in love with her seven years ago.
#44 - Near
When the woman he loved told him "Now that you are back, the dark age ruled by Ganondorf will end" the Hero of Time knew the end was near and Hyrule would soon regain the delight it once had.
#45 - Natural
Then, just as Link was living one of the most glorious moments of his life, the ground started to rumble in an unusual, unnatural way, "That rumbling, it can't be!?" said Zelda in a frightened voice before being taken away by the King of Evil.
#46 - Horizon
Link had one last task to complete, he was determined to do it and when he stepped foot into Ganon's Castle, the six Sages came out of the horizon and built a bridge so that he could beat Ganondorf and rescue the Princess.
#47 - Valiant
Just as Zelda thought she would never leave this cursed castle, he came running towards her: it was him, the valiant silent boy with deep blue eyes.
#48 - Virtuous
After Link killed the enemy, Zelda came to him, she looked beautiful, virtuous and oh so pure, he couldn't keep his eyes off of her but the battle still wasn't over.
#49 - Victory
Link successfully won his last combat against Ganon, and stayed with Zelda in a place without time and space "Peace will once again reign in this world" she said, "This must be what they call victory" he thought.
#50 - Defeat
As foretold, when peace returned to Hyrule, Zelda and Link had to say good-bye, but their love never ceased to exist and as Link was giving his last breath, enduring his last defeat, Zelda's lovely face came to his mind and so he died in peace.
