I think matching tats can be a bad idea, but these can at least be finished or not as we choose. We chose the yin yang for a lot of reasons, and this specific type for a lot of reasons too.
Main Reasons:
1. Scott loves the symbol, always has, (in fact I think at one point in high school he bought me a necklace for Xmas with one on it), and I like them too, so it works out. I enjoy the idea of balance. And to be honest, he does balance me out really well and I think I balance him too. We temper each other's more undesireable traits pretty well.
2. Scott is a Sagittarius, a fire sign. So flames work for him. I'm Scorpio, a water sign (and the original symbol was in blue and orange, so this worked out well, and fire and water are opposites, too), so if we would break up (which I don't see happening, but one never knows!), we both essentally just have our element sign on us.
Frankly, I'm in lust with my foot now. heh, this is my only tat that I can SEE all the time. I tend to forget about my back tats, mostly because I can't see them. Now when I have a crappy day I can just look at my foot and think of my sweetie and the serenity of waves and chill. *happy*
In other news, redid my journal, added new icons (as I'm sure you can see). I'm getting better with photoshop since I don't have my paint shop pro *cries*, so I was having fun and playing last night.
Think I'm gonna go watch a movie with the Pookins now.
Night ya'll!
