Oh, wow...

That was a bit of a shocker. I fully expected it to be a memorial service for Mycroft, you see, with Lestrade attending. But this was lovely. Sad, but very lovely. And Sherlock and John's respective reactions to Lestrade's death were spot-on. Brilliant stuff.

Oh God. That was.... beautifully done.

Lestrade's line about the cold was haunting, but this line got me the most: "Several paces behind, John walked with a comforting arm around Donovan’s shoulders, though it was John’s eyes that were puffy and swollen from tears."

that something that is this poignant can feel so comforting too was an unexpected surprise. lovely work. thanks particularly to that image of john am searching for a tissue now.

Ohhhh, ow. It took me a moment, it was subtle and extremely effective.
They were sitting towards the front, John with shoulders sagging and head bowed, Sherlock defiantly upright.
This is perfect, so them.
Amazing.
