I have so much love for The Virgin Queen it's not even funny. It's such a huge pile of awesomeness, with Anne-Marie Duff sitting on top of the pile in shaven-headed glory.

And yeah, Tom Hardy, with the earring and the legs and the pouting. Guh.

Please DO NOT FORGET the leather leggings and knee high boots. It would be a crime to forget those.

I hadn't come across the series before, and have just now watched the first two eps with two more to go. Anne-Marie Duff is indeed fantastic: it's quite gripping television. They use the music beautifully, too :) I'd like to have seen a bit more of Walsingham and especially Burghley so far, but I'm willing to trade for Hardy and the earring :) :)

Oh, lucky you! I envy you the experience of watching it again for the first time. I watch it about once every six months; it's part of my life cycle. :D

When I get my new comp in a couple of weeks, I would be happy to burn a copy of the soundtrack for you, if you wish. It's really lovely.
