xkcd and ten hundred words

Today the man I love and live with and share two cats and one house with - and who I am the wife of1 - wrote a very long story. It took a lot of words to tell his story, because he could only use the ten hundred words that everyone uses, and he could not use all the other tens of hundreds more words he knows because he reads a lot. Hah! that's what *you* say!!

I'm sure we'll see the humour in it some day. The couple whom we had crawling around in their basement and feeding Titus their salmon will probably be regaling friends with the story of the mad English people and their cat for years, though.

I have been offered a pair of adult cats (3-4 years old) whose owner died recently. I will be meeting them next weekend, and I hope that we will get along.
