Inception Big Bang Art

So I was insane enough (and still so intimidated by what I'm planning to do for katbear for something I owe her from ages ago that I need a run-up to it) that I decided to do a pinch hit for the Inception Big Bang. Hey, Bauble, thankyou :) :) I'm glad you liked - I wanted to keep to quite a tight palette, and that helped the colours hang together rather than fight with one another, I think :)

Thanks so much, Motetus! It's fascinating working with watercolour, how many shades you can get out of just one colour not to mention blending two - it's all pretty new to me, so I kept to relatively few colours for this, with lots especially of the raw sienna that is the main colour in the stairs. And oh, do I know what you mean about watercolour leading to tears!! It's a drattedly awkward medium to work in! Half of this pic, I was dipping colour in and praying it would go where I wanted ( ... )
