Week Four: Hair!!!!

omg I love drawing hair. It is so easy compared to drawing faces!!!! So abstract, and yet it has structure and flow, and your hand moves in very distinct ways. Straight hair = long strokes pulled toward you, very confident. Wavy hair = a double curved stroke that tapers off at the end. Curly hair = literal circles on the page, plus teeny ticky

Sorry about Wednesday, a friend had an emergency and I was unexpectedly given custody of their sprog, so we went to see "Dracula Untold", which I assessed would be no more violent than the average wuxia movie, as indeed it proved. Speaking of which, everyone in a wuxia film will have nice straight hair if you need more examples to draw.
