I'm considering a name change for my journal...not a new journal mind you, just a change for the current one. The thing is...I don't know what I want to call it...Here are some of my thoughts.

GloriaHistorian-To reflect not only me, but my chosen profession.

GloBaby-A nickname that many of my friends use for me even though some have never met each ( Read more... )

Mostly because I think user names should be short and to the point. Especially since I refer to people by their screen names.

Okay, my two cents, which should be taken with a grain of salt because it's 3 am here.

GloriaHistorian is too Dora the Explorer for me, don't know why.

AmbrosineIgnigius is a bit too much like cunnilingus...and nobody wants that.

HistoryLover2013 is a bit too AIM circa 1998.

So one of the other two, probably GloBaby, but that one might sound too Myspacey.

Like I said, sorry for the harsh, I'm knackered.

I don't know who Dora the Explorer is other than a show for kids so I don't care about that one. I definitely don't want one that reminds people of cunnilingus. LOL so I'll drop that one. I don't care if the HistoryLover2013 reminds people of the old AIM, but I don't like it as much as Gloria Historian, so I'll probably drop the 2013 one as well. I have another vote for Globaby. I like how short it is and to the point. I don't care about the myspacey aspect of it; but I think I would get tired of it easily; but it's a toss up for me between GloriaHistorian and Globaby...or possible a third option that I haven't decided on yet.

Another vote for Globaby...I might use that one after all...
I just found out that lj will switch my journal after all...I'm scared to change it now. I'm afraid they will F# up my account. eek

LOL. I officially have votes against everything. LOL but I can see your point, those names are very close together. I'll probably just pick another name not even mentioned in my post...LOL
