both of Roo's hind legs and his lower torso are dark purple and swollen. we made him legwarmers out of big socks, because he was licking his legs until they started seeping. he's drugged up and mostly sleeping -- sometimes eating turkey broth. liquid thanksgiving dinner, my mom calls it. there is snow in the north country and I want to get there
