No question there about the character those two will play. Even though I'm kinda sad that Koki is not in this time around, I did like Shibutani from the 2006 production.

But Tegoshi Yuya? Man, that is random.

So now we have a representative from each of the last three debuted Showa groups

My reason for the lack of DVD for 2008 production is because Yabu sucked LOL~! Man, I have no love for those Heisei Jrs.

The choice is surprising. I was kind of hoping for a Kame, Koki and Yara combi again, because DB07 is my favourite :-).

I am totally OK with Subaru, though I didn't like his voice in DB06. Which is strange because normally I like his voice.

I don't know what to think about Tegoshi. I am always confusing him with Masuda and haven't heard him sing or paid any attention to him since My Boss My Hero. Hopefully he will be better than Yabu.

Now a DB08 DVD would be nice too :-) I want to see Hanasanaide Ai and Kame and Koki's LIPS.

YAY! Kame-Koki-Yara fan XD Tegoshi's selection surprised most people, I think. Still better than, let's say, Takaki Yuya or any Heisei Jrs though :p

The issues I have with 2006 DB was that there were to many main characters. Like, all 13 of them. 2007 DB is my favorite because it gave the spotlight to the 3 characters that deserved the spotlight :D Who knows, maybe Shibutani is going to be awesome in the new production *prays*

I'm with you regarding the Koki or Subaru issue. We both love Koki of course :) but Subaru was good too. Tough choices. Subaru did say during Kame's SCP that he hopes they'll work together again so here we go. :)

Kokame love on DB will be missed though. XD And Yara. D:

I was actually being polite about Tegoshi *muahahahahaha*. I share your sentiment Jyo.

Shibutani as Champ is a good choice. But yeah, he's not Koki. The best thing about DB 07 & 08 (Yabu-attrocity aside) was the chemistry between Kame and Koki (and Yara in 07). Will be interesting to see what they got in store for this year's production :D

As much as I'd miss Koki, I'd watch Subaru quite happily. (Though I do wonder if there will be Kame/Subaru fanservice in the magazines leading up to the show the way there was Kokame last year!) But Tegoshi? Ugh. Bring back Yara, please. I love Yara, and boy, can he dance.

Shibutani is OK since he already played the character in 2006. Also, his 'fans' need to shut their trap about him NOT playing the main character. Puhlez, the CHAMP is a main character.

As sad as I am for no Kame-Koki-Yara orgy this year, we'll always have the 2007 DVD XD
