the walls of my room are closing in

I would like to redact my previous statement about the album Born in the USA. It's actually just "Glory Days", "Dancing In The Dark", and the title track I am sick of. I forgot it has "I'm Goin' Down" and "Darlington County", two songs that are just good and fun, and "No Surrender", which is pretty much my motto. From learning more from a 3 minute ( Read more... )

The moral of this latest post is that, though very troubled emotionally, little tiny Gloria is a very special young lady with a good heart and soul and a determination to enjoy life, starting very soon. She has by her side a good man who loves her, and that is of great benefit, although it is not a determinative factor.
Little tiny Gloria is at a crossroads now, and she is on the verge of choosing the right path. Once she acknowledges that life is for the living, she will once and for all cease and desist smoking, drinking, and other sinful, dangerous activity. Time will also ease the wounds she has suffered from the loss of her cat (Rocky can be a boxer, a squirrel, a cat, or the owner of an art shop in Center City, but he is not little tiny Gloria's "son").

the last time i drank was i believe one drink, maybe 4-5 months ago. i hate alcohol. i don't drink. and smoking doesn't preclude enjoying life.

having a useless brain does.
you apparently can't understand that having a brain that does not work properly and causes you to act like a nutcase and scream and cry every day and want to die all the time is what makes life impossible to enjoy.

Your brain is not useless. You're only using that as an excuse to avoid working for a living.
You're a smart, beautiful, talented girl who is capable of, and should be, working full time.

no.
and i'm sure you know you're not at all anywhere close to who i was thinking of. the main person is the person i was close friends with circa 2005-2008, who is useless, a drug addict, and not trustworthy, and yet continues to try to sneak back into my life and those of my friends.
