I've written and rewritten this post several times in my head, but not until today did I actually manage to login to LJ and really *write* it. I've just returned from a few days in Mexico City and in Veracruz and in that time (concretely, in the time I spent on buses and in airports) I got to thinking a lot about me and my life - but mostly about ' ( Read more... )

There's something to be said for making peace with a place. You can't go back and be what you once were, and that's probably not a bad thing, but it's a good feeling to make new memories.

Yikes on the break in. We've had things taken from outside, but haven't had someone inside. I'm glad you weren't home for it, though.

And the kids have no idea it even happened, so that's just as well. I just hate that I'm constantly looking over my shoulder and that each time I walk in the closet all I can think of is how someone went through my stuff just like that...
