Being home (even for a little bit) is so so so sooooooooooooooo amazing. I love my family and my house and my dog. Monica (my sister) is living with my parents for a bit while her kitchen and bathroom are renovated. And therefore, Penny Lane (her beagle) is also here. Aka I steal her and keep her in my room and play with her. She likes me. It's so ( Read more... )

mmmm, i like reading you, amy. and i'm going to like seeing you tomorrow even better. i really agree about loving camp for what it has made us into and learning to understand and grow with it. there is something so strange about how it affects us so deeply. but i like that. and i'm still trying to learn what it really means to me too. so thanks for bringing that up. see you for mae and good times tomorrow!
lovemuch,

saturday was amazing and just what i've been craving for a long time. so so so glad you came up (even if we did have to fold dumb teeshirts, haha).
lots of love,
the 35-year-old mom (don't laugh, you're still a mom too even if you aren't as old as me)

p.s. i looked for the alternating voice post and couldn't find it...

p.p.s. Megan - I know you're reading this... work, schmirk - if you are really so intent on saving up to buy holiday vests, you could have just asked me to get you one for Christmas... then you could have come up and played with us... oh well

do you realize those vests cost $50!?!?! At this rate, I'll be working through christmas. I should have stolen a cool alien shirt from crosstrainers and given it to amy for christmas again... I mean turned it into a sweet vest. ahhh hahaha, ps, since my sister's old roommates called her and left a message from the dubliner at 2AM, she wants to go there while she's home for christmas to steal cups. I mean hang out.

oh dag, i didn't realize they were 50 bucks! How do poor public school teachers afford them then?? I gotta start looking for a rich husband I guess. also, yes we must go to the Dubliner a lot more... one of mine from last time broke in my purse (imagine that), so I need at least one more to really start a collection... not to mention that i think they'd make excellent christmas gifts... hmmm...
p.s. we should prolly not tell your brother about this, given his friendship with Jared Leto
p.p.s. good thing we're having this conversation on Amy's blog
