I thought Ian did a phenomenal job on Question Time! His answers were concise, well spoken and well received by both the other panellists as well as the audience. His appearance caused him to trend on Twitter that evening. :)
I'm going to take a gander at the Private Eye book when I can see it in the bookstores.
Well, if all things go well, I plan on attending the first two HIGNFY tapings. So, if that happens, I'll be more than happy to post a review on here for fellow fans. :)
Ian is also a guest at the Cheltenham Literature Festival on the 16th of October. Will post an summary of this appearance if anyone is interested.
Oh, and there was a great article in the Guardian yesterday:
There are pictures of Ian from when he's a teenage with really long, neck-length hair which is just adorable.
You're so lucky to attend the tapings and literature festival. Will you be able to see the Private Eye at 50 exhibit while you're over here? I'm not sure what date it starts exactly...
Saw that article. Everytime I read one and they ask who will take over after Ian I can't help thinking that might be me one day... I tried to get work experience there but I'm too young currently. In a few more years though... : )
Yes, the exhibit starts on the 18th, so I'll be able to view it before I have to head back.
Shame the work experience bit didn't work out, but there's always being persistent and sending in clever contributions, be it in print or in artwork. At least maybe you can get paid a bit.
There's going to be a big to-do at the Guildhall in London for PE, invite only. Maybe we'll get some nice new press images from that?

Ffff, I'm so glad we don't have to wait much longer for new HIGNFY! There's only so many times I can rewatch the last few series <3
