I'm not watching the British Comedy Awards at the moment (will have to catch up on that though!) but I just got an excited text. For those of you who are watching, you'll know what I'm talking about:

HIGNFY has won the Comedy Lifetime Achievement Award!

I feel like a proud parent.

Yup, an acceptance speech that was, by all accounts, the best speech of the night.

I did see a few photos of him arriving at the event and he had a very fancy bright stripey shirt that was made of shiny material. Handsome chappy.
