Least Complicated ...

All my adult life (well, include the teen years as well) people have been telling me I'm complicated. Every once in a while someone would use the word "complex" instead, if they were wanting to be nice about it

Anytime someone calls me complicated, my baseline understanding is they are trying to deflect me.

I'm not simple, but I'm pretty straightforward myself these days. I have some pitfalls, but if I can avoid them -- avoid trying to rescue anyone or tell someone how they're feeling or ask for reassurance from someone with low resources -- and be an equal? Nobody's calling me complicated.
