I only feel bad about it sometimes. I think that's a lot better than feeling bad about it all the time, like before.

....oh, I'm sorry. I lost someone I thought of as a mom, but in a different way.

I used to be lonely all the time. Sometimes it feels weird not to be.

Me too. I think I just sometimes wonder if it's dumb because....I don't mean to try and say Mayfield's a great place on accident or anything.

I know what you mean. Mayfield's terrible, but most of the people here aren't.

Sometimes it makes me wonder, that. Why the town didn't put us in houses with people we'd hate and never try to protect. I mean, it knows what to take away from us when it comes to powers and stuff, how to drone us and scare us......but I'm probably just overthinkin' stuff.
