Oh damn...I never got the feather duster, since my parents didn't have one, but I was beaten with metal spatulas...? They served the same purpose. I wonder if they ever used those same spatulas for their intended purposes. I got kicked out of the house once, when I was really little (uh...2 years old, almost 3?) because my dad had been teaching me my multiplication tables, and I spaced out (two-year-olds have no attention spans. I sat there for hours. :O ), so when he asked me what 1x1 was, I had no clue. So he kicked me out of the house [it was 10-11 p.m., cold, cold].
The horrors of asian parents' punishments. argh. I wonder a lot, whether I'll ever be like that to my kids...? If I have any, anyway.

Asian parents' punishments are way harsh! I hope we won't be like that to our kids because we're Westernized and stuff, but I guess you just never know....

As for kicking your toddler out of the house because they can't concentrate on stuff through no fault of their own... *rages*

Yep, they are.
I hope we won't be either; that would really suck.

Unfair people. But...oh well.

No pressure from me! It would have to be that MSN spit the dummy a long time ago when it came to this computer.. *sigh*

Ah well, maybe if you're not at work.. maybe if you're at home or whatever... we shall see.

Wow, there is a lot of pain there. I am proud to say that you turned out just fine despite it though. You strike me as a very nurturing and caring person and this level of strife so early in your formative years shocks me a bit. You came out of it beautifully I think.

Heh, thanks. Gotta make something positive out of the whole thing, haha.

You are frightenly positive and I hope someday it rubs off a little on Mr. Negative over here.

Thanks for sharing.

It's funny how everyone (including me) thinks they are alone in their crazy fucked up less than ideal childhoods.

One day I will blog about mine. It's about the only topic I have avoided in my blog so far.

Heh, no worries. Maybe it's because you can't really share it as a little kid. Who knows.
