[Ema wakes up in Mayfield. Color is back in the world, the sun is shining, the birds are singing, and her drone husband seems much less severe, even kissing her forehead as he leaves for work. Life is back to normal, or at least as close to normal as possible in this place

[Scout was also heading to Sniper's, only to find him droned too. Not cool. He came back from Soviet Mayfield in one piece, at least, and thanks to his regain, it more caffeinated and twitchy than usual!]

'Sup Ema. Any idea what that dumbass did to get droned this time?

You mean Sniper? No idea--last time I talked to him was early in the week, and he was pissed off about the Soviet situation. You don't think he did something drastic, do you?

Yeah, I'm back in one piece. I was lucky enough to get through the week with nothing more than a droning. How about yourself, you look well enough.

I can't believe how long I was stuck with those horrible gray clothes! It was- horrible!

[Just manages to catch herself there. Almost said, just like bing in Arkham again. But she's learned not to bring that up in conversations.]

She looks down at her own garb--sundress and lab coat--and has to agree. The Soviet wardrobe was awful.]

[ Klavier soon opens the door, smiling somewhat happily as he sees Ema, but it could also be because yay a packet from home!

In other words he got his clothes back.

Still, she's glad to see him in one piece, and the first thing she does after she adjusts to the glare of his jewelry is pat him down to make sure he's actually whole.]

You're okay... right? Not injured, not missing a limb, not droned...

But he soon pulls her into a hug, kissing the top of her head. ]

Ja, I'm alright. After the droning, nothing else happened to me. You seem to be in one piece also, ja?

[Ema hugs him back, the tightness of her grip betraying just how shaken she's feeling.]

Yeah, I'm fine. Got through the week with just one droning.

*By this point Touma is healed up but is staying in bed. Mostly because Misaka is telling him to. He wants to get out of bed pretty badly, he's starting to get restless.*

[Ema peeks in, significantly more sympathetic than last time.]

Hey there. How's the wound healing?

Pretty well. Maybe that vodka actually helped.

*He sits up in bed to address Ema.*

Maybe. Either way, I'm glad to hear it. [She takes a seat.]

I feel like I should apologize. I had no idea you were so badly injured until we got back to Mayfield. I might have been able to do something for you if I'd known...
