You told me that he couldn't feel pain. You did not warn me about licking knives and backing people into walls and asking them cryptic questions about God and threatening to kill them if they get the question wrong.

And I cannot understand this organization's obsession with killing each other and making a big damn show out of it. What. The. Hell.

[In Ken's defense, he did describe Farfarello as "this crazy guy who doesn't feel pain" when Ema asked about the members of Schwarz. Ema might concede this point once she's feeling calmer.]

I'm really sorry Ema! I'm so used to dealing with people who already know him. I'm sorry! Are you ok?

[Long pause. Deep breath. That was unfair. A large part of her problem as little to do with Ken or Farfarello; what has her more unnerved is her own memory. When she speaks again, her voice is a bit more restrained.]

I-I'm not hurt. Whatever I said, he seemed to approve of it.

[And guess who's returned from his most recent death? And awoken from his droning? Everyone's favorite trollipath. He is Not Pleased, with a capital Fuck You Mayfield.

When he spots Ema, he gives her a customarily warm greeting.] What the hell happened?

[Ema's much better after a night with Klavier that hasn't happened yet XD, but she's still a little rattled. As such, she has no patience for Schuldig's attitude.]

You were droned. And then one of your teammates came and murdered you. Carved the word "cunt" into your forehead and stuck up your middle finger. Very refined.

[Slams a cabinet door after pulling out a box of cereal.]

You never bothered to tell me that one of them was more messed up in the head than you are.

You never bothered to ask. I'm flattered you thought I was the worst Schwarz had to offer, of course. [The smart remarks are basically made on automatic, however. The thought of being droned is more pressing, and more disturbing, than anything Ema could say. Even more so than the thought of someone defacing his corpse, and he seems somewhat distracted.]

Sounds like Farfarello.

Is that what his name is? With all the scars and the God issues? He just introduced himself as the Berserker. [She opens the box of cereal pointedly and munches on some of it. With a vengeance.]

That was before he started licking your blood off his knife, sitting next to you, and threatening to kill me if I didn't answer his questions about God to his liking. [MUNCH MUNCH. If Schuldig's paying attention, he can probably get a pretty good idea of the memory of it from her point of view... as well as another more distant (and more personally disturbing) memory of being threatened at knifepoint in a dark office as a teenager.]

He's used to her coming and going, so just hanging in the kitchen whenever you decide to come, laadidaa. ]

[Ema lets herself in, goes looking for him, and pretty much just clings to him. She's trembling slightly.

Not at all like her usual behavior when she comes over.]

[ Klavier's about to greet her, when she clings onto him and he immediately knows something has happened. Carefully, he wraps his arms around her trembling body, resting his chin on her head and petting her back in a soothing way.

He waits for the trembling to lessen before speaking, or more like whispering: ] ... What happened?

[A few deep breaths.] I met another one of Schuldig's associates. It... didn't go well. He... I found him standing over Schuldig's body--he killed him because he's been droned. And this guy just... he was creepy, Klavier, covered in scars and almost maniacal. He licked the blood from the knife, threatened to kill me too if I didn't answer his questions about believing in God... I thought I was going to die...
