[Turn Left Event] Public Service Announcement

Nov 14, 2008 19:51

Everyone, listen up! Something has gone terribly wrong, and not just in my world, but across several worlds connected to the comm.

I feel like ... like the whole universe has just been pushed a little off-kilter. Something's missing from the community. I feel like there's this ... this hole in the fabric of reality. A hole shaped like a person.

My ( Read more... )

ten, turn left event, seriously wtf?

Never heard of him. Maybe you can ask the ninth doctor.

The Ninth Doctor? Yeah ... he's Ten's previous incarnation. But how would he know what happens to his future self ...? Never mind. He's a Time Lord.

...Now I don't know what you're talking about.

Something has screwed up the timeline's of several worlds. A Time Lord's job is to fix those kind of problems.

No one remembers Ten because in this timeline, he doesn't exist ... But then why do I still remember him ...?

Jordan... do you ever think?!

Look, if Mr. X really isn't just a hallucination we've both had (they had me on some excellent drugs, I wouldn't be surprised if our minds linked up during that), if he's supposed to fix things like this, and he really is gone, then something worse than Canaletto is probably behind this!

And it cut me off, that's why I'm editing this: Jordan. Do you want whatever it is to know you know, if any of this is real?!

I ... guess I didn't think about that.

But who (or what) could be powerful enough to erase a Time Lord? I mean, maybe it's just a glitch in the space/time continuum, or something?

Um.

Gee.

You think Cancan McSpiderpants might've had relatives?

No. Canaletto was the last of his kind. That much I managed to gather, while he was inside my head.

But whatever it is, it had to have happened in The Doctor's world, during his timeline. And that's had ramifications for the rest of the community.

I've never heard of him.

Are you sure? But ... Haruhi was basically living with him for the past few month. She never mentioned him to you?

...She's been living with me since mid-September. I think you may have the wrong person.

I have the right person. She was living in the TARDIS with The Doctor and Donna.

... don't you feel like something is wrong? Isn't your gut telling you that Haruhi shouldn't be like this?

The Tenth Doctor...I don't think I know anyone by that name. But now that you mention it, when we went to rescue you, it feels like there's someone who came with us that I can't remember.

Aang, my boy! It's so good to hear from you again! I knew I couldn't be the only one who remembers! So I'm not going insane!

Eva and Yuuko, they know what's happening, too. I think ... only people with strong spiritual powers are able to sense that something's wrong. Everyone else has completely forgotten that Ten ever existed.

I only sort of remember. It's like when you go somewhere and you know you forgot something, but you can't figure out what. Was he supposed to have been at your wedding too? ...Did...something happen to him?

I think that only those with certain god-like or psychic abilities seem capable of sensing the shift in the flow of time. Since you're the Avatar, you have a certain connection with the cosmos.

Yes, he was supposed to be at my wedding, too. I think he played an important role during that ordeal, as well.

...that's odd. I'm with Aang, I think someone was evacuating people out of the church when we fought...but now I can't even...dammit.

That's right. The TARDIS would have come in handy during the wedding. Without Ten to help evacuate the bystanders, more time and energy was spent defending them. Canaletto was always a cruel opportunist ...

So, do you remember a man called The Tenth Doctor?
