Things are better now. I've come to realize that Doug is a great friend and that he's in love with his girlfriend. There's nothing I can do about it and I should just be happy enough with being his friend.
On another note, Kent and I are back together. I'm really happy this time. I don't know, things have just changed and they've definitely changed
