LOST

May 09, 2008 09:37

I have to preface this by saying that we watched LOST last nite after seeing Radiohead (which is its whole own story). After a semi-dramatic trip home via shuttlebus and then train, we put on last nite's LOST a around 1:15. Forgive my memory here, is what I'm saying.

HERE IS THE BECKHAM CUT GET AWAY BECKHAM.( And here is the LJ cut. )

This was a great episode!

My boyfriend thinks Christian's been resurrected (physically or spiritually?) because his corpse is on the island. Makes me curious! As for Richard, I hadn't thought about the time-traveling possibility. I just thought he was a million years old, lol. Maybe HE'S Jacob. Probably not, though. And wasn't the "orderly" the lawyer guy in the future who tries to buy Hurley off? Is he working for Widmore? Gosh, I guess that would make him ageless or a time traveler, too.

I don't know if that was really Claire or some weird manifestation of her. Why would she abandon her baby to chase her father, who she doesn't even know really, and then hang out with him like nothing's weird? This was such a good episode. I agree with your idea about the map -- Locke's chosen, and this was all his destiny. And now he's going to move (?!) the island. I guess that's why Widmore still can't find it in the future!

Oooh good one! The whole ghost thing is interesting!

Richard really confuses me, and I love it!! I think he's v. close to Jacob, at the very least.

Yeah! Those were totally the same guy! Speaking of these time travelers...remember the episode where Desmond travels back to where he was going to propose and that creepy lady in the jewelry shop tells him that's not what he does? I feel like that fits into this part of the puzzle somehow, too, but not in what way!

I get the impression that Claire is in on some plan that she feels is going to save her and the baby, but that the plan is going to fall apart.

I wonder what moving the Island will look like??

So if they move the island, how the ever loving hell is Sayid ever going to make contact with anyone ever again?

I'm glad he's in the O6 so I don't have to worry about him in that little lifeboat until the end of time.

I love Locke, Hurley and Ben travelin' together. HE OFFERED HIM HALF OF A GRANOLA BAR. That was straight-up Disney movie.

Awww, I forgot about them sharing that granola bar! How cute was that???

I really want to find out that Ben and Locke are somehow related. Can that happen?

Evil Claire is cool. I bet the actor who is Christian was sooo stoked when he found out his character got to be a badass and have a bigger role. Good to see a whole episode about Locke, he is one of the best. Loved the part where Hurley and Ben ate that candy bar together, I love when the writers give us totally awesome/hilarious things like that. Man, after they killed Russo, Alex and her boyfriend, I am on edge all the time! Like, who's next??

Yea! I totally love that they'll just kill whoever...not just red shirts. Tho they sure killed a bunch of those in the episode before this one!

Locke is my favorite character, I think...there is just so much to him. And now that we know Richard was sort of stalking him as he grew up??? omg

Even when he was BORN they knew he was connected to the island --- how?!?!?! Do they have a special book like at Hogwarts that tells them when wizards are born?

Star studded and AWESOME. This is definitely my favorite episode in a long while. THE KNIFE IS NOT YOURS, JOHN. YOU CAN'T BE A SUPERHERO. DON'T TELL ME WHAT I CAN'T DO!!!!

Whew, Lost busts the ALLCAPS right out of me. But seriously, the Richard stuff and the Abadon out of the blue and the Locke as a kid and his crazy mom and the BLACK SMOKE DRAWING! Okay, I'm gonna stop now.

But I agree with you that Locke is an amazing character. I forget how much I love him until big chunks of his mythology get churned back up. That exchange between Ben and Locke -- "I'm not you." "OH I KNOW." -- they are both so twisty crazy badass.
