I probably should have warned all of you on my flist from across the pond that my brother is over there right now. If you see a loud, obnoxious, white American male who is really tall and goofy looking around 18 years old, tell him to lay off the booze. Well...he's now in France and just left Britain. If you remind me I'll dig out some of my pictures from when I was in Madrid. Oh, man. To be honest, it wasn't my favorite place in Spain, but you better believe we left with stories. ("In Which We Are Caught in a Violent Protest," "In Which We Are Almost Caught While Hammered By Our Chaperone," "In Which a Strange Man Stares at Us for Three Hours From a Roof," "In Which They Closed Down the Elevator On Purpose," "In Which Cute Boys Kept Sneaking Into Our Bathroom," "In Which One Kid Decides to Get Drunk Even Though He Has Dysentery," and many more.) :)

Is your brother taking the year off to explore Europe? I wanted to do that too, but my mother wouldn't let me - granted I was fifteen at the time, but Gabriel, a friend of mine, who planned the trip with me decided to go without me at my insistence. He sends me a postcard now and then telling me how he is, because he knows I collect postcards and in essence, I'm vagabonding through him.

I'm not sure how fun it is, because I've never vagabond before, but we were quite the romantic when we were younger (okay, since last year) and I'm still am. So, to me, vagabonding is more romantic than fun. *shrugs shoulders*
