So, bullshit with parents at the daycare. Don't even want to talk about it; we may or may not be fucked.

Yesterday Seth cracked his head open on a rock. Blood everywhere and a hole in his head a quarter-inch deep. I was trying to keep my cool while calling 911, but when he's bleeding and pale and not saying anything... oh my god. I've never been so ( Read more... )

Isn’t it amazing?

Nothing bleeds like a kid with a cut on his head.

It could be a big cut or a small one and they still spout amazing amounts of blood.

My nephew smacked his head one time and even though it wasn’t a bad cut and didn’t need stitches there was blood everywhere.

My mom cleaned him up and put a butterfly bandage on the cut. One kiss to make it better and one ice pop and he was off and running.

Wouldn’t it be great if a kiss and an ice pop could fix everything?

I’m glad that Seth is okay. And I hope you're are felling better.

"You gonna play and den you be bleedin'."

Truer words were never spoken. This was a preschool kid my mom used to teach way, WAY back in the day. He was adorable but you felt bad for him because once he said to my mom 'My mom got a new boyfriend. Do you have a boyfriend?' and my mom goes 'No, I have a husband' and he had the most confused look on his face and was like 'husband?'

Anyway, hope he's feeling better and, yes, his mohawk will intimidate any mean kids.

Hope you feel better as well, loves.
