This is the fic fandom rec post for the grand_line_vine One Piece newsletter.

Use this post to recommend stories you really liked so it can be featured in grand_line_vine. If any piece of art or fic gets 3 recs, it will be included in the "Fandom Recommends" section.

Blurb 1: It's really heartwarming and probably one you'd miss if you were just skimming.

Blurb 1: In my opinion, I feel that this drabble perfectly illustrates the way one Dracule Mihawk would feel, being the greatest swordsman in the world. Imagine what it would be like to be the best and so far ahead of everyone else in the world; it would have to get more than a little boring after a while, wouldn't it? This drabble (although short) is an excellent exploration in how this encounter not only affected Zoro, but Mihawk as well.

Blurb 1: This fic begs the question: exactly how flexible is Sanji? It's a nice little drabble about what kind of trouble the crew can get into when left to their own devices with a crapload of rum. XD It may have slight overtones of yaoi, but nothing explicit.

Blurb 1: A sequel to the previous drabble reccomended. This one deals with Sanji wondering the exact same thing about his captain: can Luffy's rubber body be used for self-pleasure? And just where does Zoro fit into all of this? >=)
» Ghosts by Turklight [Going Merry] [G] [SP:W7]
Blurb 1: I just thought it was a heartfelt view from Going Merry and how the ship felt about its nakama. Just very moving to me.

Reccing Procedure
Editors of grand_line_vine may not do fandom recs. We have our own sandbox to play in. Editors may not rec themselves, but they can be recced in fandom recs. You may not rec your own stuff. To discourage sockpuppetry, we require that recs come with the following:
You may not rec one story more than once.
You may rec as many different stories as you want.
You may rec the work of grand_line_vine editors.
Once something has been recced, it goes in the archives and will not be recced again. Come on people, keep writing the good stuff!
With each rec, please include the following:

Rec Blurb: This describes why this particular piece is worth reccing and appears in the Fandom Recommends archives but not the newsletter itself. See the Editor's Choice archives for examples.
Once a fic or piece of art has collected three valid recs, we will include it in the next issue of grand_line_vine, post the recs to the relevant Fandom Recommends archive, and then leave a comment on the recced work congratulating them on being recced and linking back to the issue and the archive. We'll also include a link to that comment in the archive so people can go see what we said and hopefully leave a comment themselves.
