The 9 - 4?

Aug 14, 2003 18:57

So yes. I am very proud of my lack of sleep. I awoke at 9 am on Tuesday morning (the day from Hell!) and didn't got to sleep until 4 am this morning. I mean, I feel asleep for a few minutes here and there, but not for more than say, 15 minutes at a time, which by my standards does not equal real sleep. I have also found that a lack of sleep makes ( Read more... )

I'm not taking anthro because I decided that I needed to drop HoA in order to take 2 years of art and test higher level. I really didn't want to because I love history, but something -had- to give. Besides, I wouldn't have gotten Matthews anyway; which made me sad, but happy because I wasn't going to lose him. Also, my mom is has a degree in anthropology. And, that would kinda be weird. I would have loved to take the class though. The only reason I'm taking Econ is so that I can get the high school graduation requirement out of the way. Otherwise it would be anthro. I'm just trying to lighten my stress level.

^_^ I hope Christiansen is great, I have heard nothing but bad comments about her from others that had her last year.

awwwwwww. poor child. Well, I liked Christiansen, and I'm not sure why other people didn't like her. I think that we just had a bad mix of students, because I was always insanely frustrated that nobody else was actually interested and that nobody else wanted to discuss and stuff.

I don't think ANYBODY likes ANY of the English teachers except Roberts, but it's really not the teachers' faults, it's the students'.

Well, I don't like english to begin with (even though I'm fairly good at language). I've just had a bunch of bad english teachers. And because I'm bad at english, I need a good one eventually to teach me properly. I don't mind working, I just want to be good at english!

Good luck with Murphy, he can be an ass. Get used to is coughing...He coughs after every sentence, well almost. Pointers in his class: Ask questions and talk in discussion. The tests are very easy as long as you read the book.2nd semester do very good on the last of those tests (they'll come at the very beginning of this semester) because you will only have two projects after that.

Japanese - ever need help don't be afraid to ask.

sorry, can't suggest anything after that for the other classes. Good luck!

Thank you for all the advice. In fact, thank you for always being nice to me and willing to help. I really appreciate that. In truth, I am a little worried about Murphy, because I heard he is a pervert. Thank you again for everything!

No problem at all! liang_nan August 15 2003, 14:26:44 UTC
Sadly I have to agree about Murphy the pervert. For both guys and girls. I find him a little to touchy. My friend, who shall go unnamed, was walking to class with a donut. Murphy said he's going to share right. My friend at first thought Murphy was merely kidding. Was he wrong. He, yes he, had to FEED Murphy part of the donut since Murphy was holding a box. Ever since then he would always touch my friend. If you dress the way you do you should have no problem, and don't put on make-up to look like a barbie.

It's really not a problem at all. I am just glad I can help. Don't be afraid to ask about something in Japanese because if I don't know it I can ask my boyfriend.

ok. ew. I was wondering why Murphy was so nice to me when I first came to ML.

Well, I was planning on trying out some new styles next year. And they involve harsh makeup. But you know me, I'm not one to flaunt myself.

I'm sure I'll eventually need help in Japanese. Say Hi to Ken for me!! And tell him I want to buy his sandals with the spikes!
