perhaps you could help me. I'm trying to make a flow-rate equation. here: A granular substance exits a cylindrical pourer that is 12 cm tall and 6.5 cm in diameter with an opening that is circular and 0.7 cm in diameter. Can you make a related rate equation with respect to time for the flow rate of the granular substance out of the pourer. make it as function in terms of "h" for height of the substance. <3 <3 (this would be my attempt to figure out how much of the substance is coming out as a function of time.) I'm sure for a lover of calculus that will be no problem!
Is it like a truncated cone? If so, I don't know the formula for the volume off the top of my head, though I will look. If this is due tomorrow, I don't know how much help I can be. Sorta busy tonight.
nope not due tomorrow. just a curiosity of mine. like when you go into a coffee shop, and you go to pour sugar, i'd like to make an equation our of my sugar pourer. and you would be the one to ask. thanks for considering it though! <3 the formula for volume of a cylinder is V= pi r^2 h
keep this little project on the down low if you wouldn't mind! ^_^
Bread is to crumb as my monkey is to flinging poo. Now THAT would be the correct answer! **Why they marked me wrong on that multiple choice, I'll never know...**
I hate tests. They make me feel nervous, but that's because most of the time I don't study, or something.
Mostly don't study.
But GOLF, now THAT'S something to be proud of! I LOVE golf! People at funworks know me by name. I get top scores on my golfing on my phone AND PC. So come on, girl, bring it! ***Whisperwhisper*** ....oh, not miniature golf? **head hangs low in shame**
**sniff, sniff** I should be beaten with a cylindrical object. :) Haiku!
High school tests are dumb; they have nothing in common with life's challenges.
Yah, that there done learned guud. end huked on foniks wurks fer mee! --end transmission--
