Chemo 2

So.... on Tuesday Mom had her 2nd dose of chemo. My aunt was in town, which was good because I had a horrible cold. Anyways, her hair is now falling out by handfuls. It should be gone by the end of the week. She still hasn't thrown up. Which is good. We went over to her house on Wednesday, which probably wasn't a good idea because of my cold

I'm glad you got a visit in with your aunt hon and I hope you're feeling better!

how is your mom with hats and scarves or is she worried about covering up the hair loss? Might be a distracting/fun outing for the two of you to pick up some fun fabric and make head scarves?

I'm glad she's doing well... does this mean everything is on track for her treatments?

It's good that she's doing well so far; you seem to be pretty positive and collected about it all! Hang in there!
[I feel I must mention, in case you don't already know: IF she does begin to get sick to her stomach and it starts to get the better of her, she may want to try Sea-Bands; they're elastic acupressure bracelets (find 'em at drugstores) that really do help control nausea without putting any drugs into the body].
