Pink Floyd's Barrett dies aged 60

Syd Barrett, one of the original members of legendary rock group Pink Floyd, has died at the age of 60 from complications arising from diabetes.

sad indeed but like i've said in my post i'm glad to hear he died at home and not in some cold, lifeless English psych ward. also have you picked up the "wouldn't you miss me" best of? it's got some neat stuff on it.

Yeah, he's pretty much lived at home with his mum for more than 20 years.

I haven't seen the compilation, but then I've got all of his (and Pink Floyd's) albums in my collection already. Do you have a track list? I wonder if there's some rare B sides or something I don't own.

well there's a version of Bob Dylan Blues as well as some remixed stuff from the albums and un-overdubbed stuff. i'll e-mail you the list when i'm at home and have the cd in front of me.
