Well, it's your journal, so you can do what you like with it. There's no requirement to post if you don't feel like it, so you shouldn't feel compelled to write anything if you don't want to.

But the other reason for this entry is to give notice to any 'watchers' I have. If you want me to know something, you will need to find another method of informing me.

Well, the reason I'm closing LJ is to cut down on the fake means of caring and communicating, I am more likely to stay on LJ then to open an account on some new thing I am going to dislike.
