I made the best of it. I wore red, then showered and dressed up in red and pink, then skipped class and went out to dinner with a couple sisters (Well, one isn't quite initiated yet, but she's a Pledge). And THEN my sister and I started a new tradition (that can occur any damn time that we feel like it): Taste/Tour of Quincy. Kinda like The Taste, but way more hick-filled. What we do is go to a bar that we've never been to (or at least one of us hasn't...I've been to way more bars than she has, apparently...but she drinks more...go figure), have a beer, then leave b/c of whatever is wrong with that particular bar. Then we just go to another bar, and repeat the process. So...Valentine's Day doesn't always have to suck. And I saw many "Single-Awareness Day" mentions, even on some girl's shirt. So, we're totally not alone.

Please love everyday.
Why not celebrate that one man was strong enough to die for love hundreds of years ago with the celebration of the loves I know today?
