Not to worry, because the Democrats have their own way of locking up the election for Kerry. All they need to do is convince Al Gore to endorse George W. Bush. Seriously. Who are the last two people Gore endorsed? Howard Dean and Al Gore. Both have officially lost; Dean lost his lead almost immediately after Gore endorsed him.

Al Gore is a political cyanide tablet. Set him loose on Bush and Kerry walks away with it.

You're not the first person I've heard present that argument. Howard Dean lost his lead almost immediately after Mary Beth Cahill was hired.

What does Kerry's manager have to do with my point on Al Gore?

And holy crap, how many people did you invite into the BBall group?

Your point was that Al Gore's endorsement was causally linked to Dean's demise. I'm telling you that it was temporally linked in that Al Gore's endorsement immediately preceded Dean's demise. What caused Dean's demise was Mary Beth Cahill -- I've been saying for a year that the campaign only had room for one New England liberal, and she made sure it was her man. Post hoc ergo procter hoc.

I think a lot of the people are Joe's Davis friends that he invited.

You are so that guy with the glasses in The American President... Something about Michigan and California and cars and airplanes and burnings lots of fossil fuels. Or something.

And I am so not up on politics.
