I did not really understand why things with Rebecca never seemed right after those first good three or four weeks, and why every time I tried to make things better and change things and adapt

Wow, I came across this journal by mistake browsing through some friends' userinfo. I am Rebecca's ex-boyfriend. I was living with her, Dave, and the kids when her house in Bishop burned down. Some very similar things were done to me by Rebecca, and some very similar lies were told. Wanna chat sometime? I know it might not be the most pleasant conversation topic, but I think I could add some context to your experiences, and I know I can help clarify a few things. Also, I thought it might make you feel a little better to know you're the victim of a pattern of behavior, not an isolated incident - helps with placing the blame more squarely on her. I understand if you don't want to talk about this crap, but if you do feel like commiserating, then shoot me an email.
