smutty_claus reveals are up! HUGE thanks once again to twilightsorcery for Getting Away With It (Or Maybe Not), my beautiful Sirius/Lily with voyeur!James art. I keep going back to look at it and fall in love with it all over again each time. :-D

I had the best time EVER with SC this year. I got to write for fluffyllama, who is one of my favorite people in fandom, and I wrote a ( Read more... )

I'm so thrilled to hear (read) that you had a great experience in smutty-claus, and I love that (even if it was unintentional) the assignment inspired you to step outside your comfort zone and try something new -- as a writer, I LOVE it when fests do that for me. <333.

Weasleycest is one of those things that usually appears in the fest in a small amount, but it just blew up this year. The stars aligned for you and this fic, apparently.

I was actually surprised at how little Snape there was in the fest this year. I can only remember 2-3 pieces featuring him this time around. Felt kind of odd!

There's another fest that happens at the same time which is Snape-centric -- I think that's why there's not so much Snape in smutty-claus.

Oh my god, I can't believe you wrote that for me! I will admit there was something about the Weasley family that made me think of the way you've written them, but I put it down to the bit with the funeral making me remember (because it still sticks in my mind and breaks my heart) your dead twin fic. There's definitely something about the way you write the family dynamic that I love. I'd also have guessed the writer was British if I had to, but you've always been able to pull that one off, damnit. Though I think I should have guessed from the ending, because I can't think of many people who would go there *g* So as usual, I suck at guessing even my favourite writers ( ... )

Eeeee! This has been on my "to read" list for nearly a month now - ever since Jacci IMed me and told me I had to read it. *g*

God, this was fantastic! And oh, did it hurt. I mean, you can't help feel sorry for Harry, but at the same time, the whole infidelity scenario was so organic in and of itself. And of course the forbidden is always a lure, especially for extrovert-type personalities like Ginny and Bill. So wrong, and yet... And yet so bloody HOT! GUH!!

I loved how it played out over time, how you established their relationship, and oh god - the bit about Fred's funeral and how Harry just wouldn't understand the loss despite his own pain and guilt.

I also really loved how you never cheapened her love for Harry, despite everything. It wasn't because she didn't love Harry or because he didn't love her, and the same with Bill and Fleur, and in fact that wasn't a factor at all in their relationship.

Really well done! I admit, I was a bit surprised to see you wrote this one. Loved it!

And really, what is it about writing ( ... )

Eee, thanks so much, hon! I felt so badly for Harry myself all the way through this, and the ending was painful to write, I have to admit it. And I don't usually mind torturing Harry, LOL. The poor love. Thanks for reading, and for the lovely feedback! :-)

And hee, yes! I forgot about that until just now!
