Title: Five Times Garcia's Phone Rang (And One Time It Didn't)
Rating: FRT/PG. Some non-explicit Penelope/Kevin interaction and implied Gideon/Reid, but this is mostly Garcia-centric gen.

Thank you! Glad you liked it. :D

I cruised by your journal just now and saw you write CM fic, too. I will have to take a closer look at it when I get a chance.

I was so excited to see you had written a fic in my current obsession fandom. I fell in love with this fandom a little over a year and a half ago and had a big writing spurt for a while. Everything I've done is Hotch/Reid and a lot of it is based off of one particular fic that I did, "Five Dinners and a Breakfast." For some reason, I just couldn't stop writing in that universe I had created.

I've been on a bit of a writing hiatus due to RL issues, which have (finally!) mostly resolved themselves. I'm actually beginning to feel the writing bug again. I have a few WIPs that I really need to finish (including a CM/Sherlock Holmes book verse (yes, really) crossover that is not a crack!fic.. at least it's not supposed to be.) I have lots of other ideas too, which have been floating around in my head for a while. I think the last thing I actually wrote was late last year for the cm_exchange holiday exchange (and, now that I think of it, I don't believe that I linked that to my LJ. Hmmm... must do that ( ... )

Ahahaha, you're the one with the "somewhat incongruous" icon! I saw a comment you left on a post the other day using that icon, and it cracked me UP. I love that!

I've been reading quite a bit of Hotch/Reid the past few weeks, and really getting into it. I think my main pairing is going to end up being Gideon/Reid, though. Gah, the chemistry between them, and Gideon SO CLEARLY loves Reid with every fiber of his being -- yum.

And I, erm... actually already have another one in the works. Reid doesn't die in this one, though, heh.

Thanks again. :-D

Heh, yeah. Not exactly a great way to dip my toes into a new fandom, by killing off that fandom's favorite character, but oh well.

Oh you HAD to kill Reid. Dammit.

I kind of love you sometimes. When I don't loathe you with adoration in my heart.

And by the way, have I mentioned what an unflinching Criminal Minds fangirl I am? No? Well that's why I don't write fic in the universe -- because I can't improve on it, being too busy soaking it in with every pore.

You wrock my world, G.

Hee, thanks, Clue! I didn't want to kill him, I swear... but that recording he made in Amplification really pinged something in me, and, well, this came out.

I didn't know you were into this show. (I can't keep track of all the different fandoms on my flist anymore.) I just got into it myself back around January, and I actually haven't even seen all the eps yet (I have probably 30 or so to go), but most of the ones I have seen have blown me the fuck away. So awesome.

CM anchored itself into my flinty little heart as of the Foyett/Hotch noncon bombshell of the season 4 closer, and I've been able to forgive them their occasional plot wobble or crappy episode ever since then. My show's subtext; it is SO not subtext!
