I was thinking about you while I watched the season finale. I wasn't a big Brody fan so I'm happy to see where they take the show going forward, especially if there's more emphasis on the Carrie/Saul/Quinn relationships, but I know a LOT of people are probably going to drop away now. The reaction on the show's Facebook page has been overwhelmingly negative.

I understand why the writers did it (not only that, they wanted to kill him off after the first season but Showtime wouldn't let them), but it still makes me sad. I suspect I might check in next season, and I do like Saul, but I can't see ever falling in love with the show again. Unlike most fan postings I've read, I don't find Quinn all that interesting (or sexy -- seems like most viewers' panties melt off whenever he walks onto the screen), and I'm nearly to the point of disliking Carrie, so there's not much left for me.

If the first season hadn't been so amazing and such a perfect match for my tastes, this wouldn't be so sad now.
